ABOUT THE PROJECT COHOUSES

Studio ALTA (Czech Republic / Prague), Baerum Kulturhus (Norway / Sandvika), and Black Box Teater (Norway / Oslo) are cultural houses that have been striving for many years to develop and cultivate a nourishing environment for artists’ creative practices and actively support professional contemporary art. Each organisation has a slightly different focus and functions differently, each is a different type of organisation. However, every partner in the CoHouses project makes every effort to enrich their activities with the collaboration which will bring opportunities for further support of Czech and Norwegian artists, either in a form of producing and staging new works or educating them. By sharing experiences among the partners, a new long-term international collaboration unfolds.

Project „Cooperation of Cultural Houses: Studio ALTA, Baerum Kulturhus, Black Box Teater“ is supported from the EHP and Norway Grants 2014–2021, programme area Cultural entrepreneurship, cultural heritage and cultural cooperation.
