ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project was created by performer Lukáš Karásek.
Living Room is an expedition of human imagination into an unexplored territory of furniture. It takes place behind the walls of just one room – a world of furniture existing in parallel to our world. Here, objects have their own personalities, acting in their own, unique ways. In between light and darkness, in the midst of hushed cracking of wooden legs and squeaking of doors, furniture and human body become a canvas for emergence and disappearance of fantastic figures. In his project, Lukáš Karásek explores the boundaries between a theatre of masks, dance, and circus, and begins an exciting game full of imagination and humour.
