All’s well that ends well? But what does a good ending even look like? And can an ending ever truly be good? After all, our whole lives, we fight for life, and then, suddenly, we’re supposed to let go? And what does God have to say about that?

“Let My Hand Be The Hand” is the final part of the “Tumor” trilogy, a series of strongly physical performances that delve into our relationship with illness through striking audiovisual and theatrical expression. With both tenderness and intensity, it guides us through the final chapter of life—where emotions run deep, magic shimmers, humour surprises, and epiphanies crackle like sparks in the dark.

Inspired by personal experiences in hospice volunteering and conversations with experts and patients in palliative care, the piece opens a dialogue about our fear of death, our longing not to face it alone, and the role of spirituality in it all. A shape-shifting theatrical experience blending performance, dance, musical, and storytelling—like a mystical meditation on dying, with just the right touch of adrenaline.

For the performance, we offer free babysitting (childcare) as part of our accessibility program. It’s important to us to have people with diverse life experiences in the audience, and we know that access to live culture is often complicated for parents of young children. In the frame of Parent-Friendly Culture program, we strive to break down, at least in part, the complex barriers we have in our society, allowing parents an uninterrupted theatrical experience and direct participation in cultural events.

T.I.T.S. is an independent performance group that explores the possibilities of hybrid theater forms, blending choreography, play, sound, visual imagery, and body physicality. Artistic leader Nela H. Kornetová initiates most of the projects with her international team of collaborators, with themes that audiences from all walks of life can relate to instinctively.  

Between 2019 – 2022 Kornetová was awarded Arbeidsstipend for Performing Artists in Norway. In 2020 and 2022, she was repeatedly nominated for the Thalia Award for Best Actor in the Alternative Theater category. She won in 2022. The Divadelní Noviny Awards 2020 nominated Kornetová & T.I.T.S. in the categories Dance and Physical Theater for the production of the year for “Tumor: Carcinogenic Romance” and in the Alternative Theater for the performance “Badman”. She received the prize for the “Badman”.
