Information

NATURA EXTREMA dives into ecological thought through performative forms, body, and space. This curated selection of performances connects nudity, physicality, and raw intensity with themes of environmental destruction, interspecies cohabitation, and the search for place in a changing world. Closeness, skin, sweat, an urban river, and the roar of a chainsaw – three days that cut to the bone.

T.I.T.S.: THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE AIR – An Unusual Musical of Breath

Three bodies are urgently breathing, singing, and dancing to celebrate humanity. As the world burns, where do cracks emerge? This unusual musical of breath gives voice to feelings we can not account for. We are participating in a larger territory. We are shaped, modulated, and syncopated by the world around us, by the forces beyond us. The world we use is the world that uses us. Intuition, instinct, and inner nature lead the audio-visual dance performance by T.I.T.S..

FRIDAY 30.05.2025

18:30 / in front of the ALTA Studio, we will continue to the Rokytka river

Dorota Michalak & Alica Minar: Lush blast

Can dance mend our ties to the land and intimately imbricate us? Lush Blast is a walking performance in an urban park asking what remains of the wilderness in Europe and in us. Come on an unusual walk and connect with the power of movement and nature.

After the Lush Blast performance, we will celebrate the closing of our European project On Mobilisation by releasing two publications: Toolkit & Mobilising Words.

The On Mobilisation project emerged from a bottom-up collaboration between wpZimmer (Belgium), Baltic Art Center (Sweden), Studio ALTA (Czech Republic), and Lavanderia a Vapore (Italy), organisations actively engaged in international solidarity and emancipatory movements within the cultural field. To effectively address and mobilise micro-communities, the project embraced the local specificities of each partner, engaging individuals committed to social justice and equality.

Køteren og Terrieren: Epiclogue

Visually captivating performance by the Norwegian duo brings an unmissable piece of performative art to Prague. Two figures merge in intimacy and strength, forming images of love, care, and resilience — while posing the question, both to themselves and to us: what does it mean for a queer body to claim space in a world where that space is easily granted to others?

Agata Siniarska: null&void

When humans wage war, the landscape suffers injury. null & void is a performance by Agata Siniarska that listens for the voices of animals, plants, stones and soil in a landscape of silence, shaped by destruction. In a world fractured by war, a half-human performer makes a solitary attempt to connect with the forgotten, neglected and silenced voices of non-human beings — and asks whether there is still space left for humans.

Performance is co-organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the international cultural program of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2025.

Co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
