14th annual international festival Zero Point is back at Studio ALTA! The four day programme is brimming with innovative and refreshing international and Czech works – from dance and visual theatre to performance art. The 2022 edition is focused on a multi-layered nature of human identity.

DŮM VÝZKUMU
You can imagine the HOUSE OF RESEARCH to be a laboratory or a study room. Doors of House of Research open to four artists, arriving from different contexts, to work in its interiors and share their questions and thoughts. The individual interests intertwine in collective moments to find the reciprocal support and rectification.

RASSPIELRAUM A KATEŘINA SZYMANSKI: UNDER THE SURFACE
The project Under The Surface/ras Spielraum&Collective Waves reflects the issue of the coal mining and its negative consequences. It focuses on the present condition of post-mining landscapes regarding natural and social areas, it points out the capitalist patterns of behaviour that individuals and companies practice and the fact that we can hardly reach any change with this attitude. There is far enough scientific proof for inevitable change these days. No need to look for more. Time runs. With no hope, can we still dream of any change?

Lonesome COWBOY is a research project that explores masculine icons and heroes in a METOO time. How are they ? Do they live in the best of times and in development in our psyche or do they ride, like Lucky Luke alone, misunderstood and isolated into the wilderness?

The performance MASS focuses on investigation of self-assurance and self-determination themes. It examines the ways and means that we use to make our own reality and ourselves in the context of today’s society. What do we consider to be important and determining for our existence and functioning?

ANTIMOTHER: OC/DC KABARET VOL.2
Antimother is a production platform and micro-label that seeks to support the frontier phenomena of contemporary music and sound design. This time for the second time with their OC/DC Cabaret, they will close the Nultý Bod (Zero Point) theater festival in Karlin’s Alta studio on Thursday 14.7.2022.
