In an evening of new works from the professional development project Butoh in Contemporary Performance: Composition, you are invited on a butoh-infused journey from Studio ALTA to Venuše ve Švehlovce. Visiting international artists Yuka Negoro (JP/UK) and Daniel Somerville (UK) and nine local artists will share the results of a 10-day intensive process of professional development dedicated to exploring butoh as a strategy for performance-making and composition. Expect formal innovation, aesthetic variety and plenty of time for reflection and exchange on an evening devoted to collaboration and exploration.

This performance begins at Studio ALTA and the audience will travel to Venuše ve Švehlovce as part of the event. A valid public transport ticket will be needed and is not included in the ticket price.
