CULTIVATOR is a European project involving three cultural centers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Slovenia that is transforming the way cultural institutions operate.

It’s not about new buildings or technology, but about a change in approach—greater openness, care, and collaboration. Instead of one-off outputs, the CULTIVATOR project builds long-term capacity, new professional roles, and openly shared tools that can be applied in other contexts as well. The project has two strands that reflect the need to develop the cultural environment both internally and externally.

❣️ We focus on cultural workers themselves—artists, staff, and collaborators within organizations. We share experiences, learn from one another, and build new formats for collaboration between institutions.
❣️ At the same time, we focus on people who are often overlooked—seniors, parents with young children, people with disabilities, and caregivers. We seek ways to involve them in cultural events, listen to them, and create together with them.

CULTIVATOR is a small project with a big impact.

We believe that real change begins from within and spreads outward—and that culture can be a place where people not only consume but also enjoy all its elements—connecting, sharing, and growing.
