Two artists with distinct theatre vocabularies encounter each other in a dance piece or an object performance.

Martina Hajdyla Lacová (dancer/choreographer) and Zuzana Sceranková (set designer/performer) each contribute to the emergence of a unique theater language in a performance that literally revolves around a single moment. A moment of the utmost concentration of physical and mental capacities, the moment of absolute focus just before the shot is put.

A performative study inspired by the sketches of Peter Sceranka, who spent multiple years modelling the statue of  “Guliar” (a shot putter). The shape, the proportions, the study of the detail, also a line, redrawn many times. Your last shot is often not the best one.

A study of a motionless statue made kinetic.

Motion made stationary. Dynamic immobility.

So…Momentum or the moment? Density or necessity? 

Two performers throw themselves into this dance or object performance.
