The meeting will take place in the PalmOFF Studio at the Divadlo pod Palmovkou.
We invite you to the final gathering and presentation of the Artist to Artist platform, which focuses on sharing practices within the contemporary independent performing arts scene. The aim of the meeting is to reflect on the collective process we have experienced, exchange insights gained over the past year, and open space for further discussion, inspiration, and possible continuation of the program next year.
This year’s edition was led by Ester Hauser Trčková and Petra Hanzlíková, who, together with the program participants, explored ways of sharing artistic practices, naming challenges, and reflecting on models of collaboration within the independent art scene. Over the course of five meetings, the group engaged in artistic process sharing, experience exchange, and the search for tools to support sustainable functioning in the arts environment.
The final meeting will combine reflection, sharing, and an interactive part — featuring short contributions from this year’s participants, guests from related educational and peer-learning projects, and a space for collective practice and discussion moderated by Alice Minar.

– An interactive session dedicated to collective reflection and imagination of the next edition of Artist to Artist
We will conclude with an open conversation and an invitation to informal sharing and note-taking of ideas.

Artist to Artist is a platform for meetings of independent artists, artistic groups, and other professionals active in the field of performing arts. It creates a space for sharing practical knowledge and experience, mutual discussion, and collaborative work in a group — bringing new perspectives on the topics addressed and allowing open sharing of uncertainties and challenges related to the functioning of the Czech art environment.
The main aim of the meetings is to learn from one another, explore ways to cultivate the working environment, and support the long-term sustainability of artistic practice. The program was initiated in 2023 by Studio ALTA and offers a space for mutual learning, sharing, and support within the artistic community — truly, artists for artists.
The platform is part of the broader KULTIVÁTOR framework of Studio ALTA, which focuses on transforming the functioning and practices of cultural institutions.
