Information

A work-in-progress of performative speculation on children’s collectives, authority, and friendship.

~

Poupátka is a research-based performative project by director and dramaturg Roman Poliak and a group of his former classmates from the Literature and Drama program at the Elementary Art School in Levice (SK). The collective is reuniting after many years to try creating together once more, to understand the unique bond that holds them together, and to shed light on the rarely discussed environment of the children’s after-school activities.

Unkulunkulu is a performance group dedicated to creating experimental theater performances. A key artistic strategy of Unkulunkulu is participation, which the group employs as both a creative method and a means of social imagination.
