Showings from dance and theatre projects currently in development.

The Saturday Bazaar is the core of the Bazaar Festival! Starting at Studio ALTA’s new spaces at Invalidovna and moving on together to Prostor 39 in Žižkov, audiences can look forward to four excerpts from future works by dance and theatre artists from Poland, Hungary, the USA, Slovakia, Germany and the Czech Republic. Excerpts will be followed by a moderated public discussion.

In keeping with the Superwomen theme of our 2020 edition, all of these works are being created under the artistic guidance of women, though some of course are being developed in dialogue with male artists as well. How are hard-working artists using new forms to grapple with tough issues from life in Central Europe to the climate to the very laws of physics themselves?

Public talks after the showings will be moderated by festival programmer Ewan McLaren.

Bazaar Festival reserves the right to make small changes in the order of showings.

Second part of Saurday Bazaar starts at 6pm in Prostor39 at Žižkov. The ticket is valid for both parts of program.
