Information
The discussion My Name Is Not “Diagnosis” aims to present the experiences of people who have experienced mental illness. Participants will learn what life is like with the disease, what people with mental illness have to deal with, what obstacles they have to overcome and how recovery from the illness takes place. The discussion will feature people with personal experiences of mental illness, who will share their stories from their own path to recovery.
For those who experience various mental problems at home or with their loved ones, the discussion can bring inspiration on the path to recovery and the hope that change is possible, that even with a mental illness it is possible to live a quality and full life. For others, the discussion can offer understanding and greater insight into the issue of mental illness and life with it.
Organised by the National Institute of Mental Health.
