A dance-performance piece, a space where juggler Lukas Bliss meets dancer Andrej Štěpita.
“Flotsam and Jetsam are originally nautical terms for objects, debris, and wreckage that ships have discarded at sea for various reasons. Flotsam refers to objects that a ship has accidentally lost during its voyage, while jetsam refers to items that the crew has intentionally thrown overboard to lighten the vessel’s load in an emergency.”

Two men, or two boys, lost in the middle of a sea of balls.
A juggler and a dancer. Best friends.

On the horizon, an infinity of possibilities. High tide and low tide. A transoceanic flight. A new land. Longing for the ocean. Fear of heights. Fear of the depths. A sister who is irrelevant to it all. And then that thing.
A physical exploration of friendship / juggling with words and relationships.
I haven’t lost anything, and so I haven’t found anything either.
At sea, we can get lost, or we can simply drift aimlessly.
50 minutes / The performance may include traces of English, Czech, Slovak, and crustaceans. However, you don’t need to understand any of the languages used to fully enjoy the performance.

Cink Cink Cink functions as a production platform focused primarily on the development and production of contemporary circus performances, with an emphasis on the use of objects. The core of the collective consists of artists Aleš Hrdlička and Lukas Bliss, who work on the fusion of juggling and object manipulation with other genres, such as dance, physical theater, contemporary magic, etc.
Andrej Štepita, a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and the prestigious SEAD school, is a performer, educator, and creator working primarily in the fields of contemporary dance and physical theater. His work is shaped by various dance styles and aesthetic approaches, and he is known for his explosive energy and precise handling of tempo. He is the founder of the Tanečno festival, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2026, and of the collective of the same name, which won the DOSKY 2023 award. He has long collaborated with Farma v jeskyni (Commander, Český hrdina, Refuge, Oscilace) and other companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria (Artemporis, Burkicom, MimoOs, Zdruhestrany, BOD.Y, dNO…). Projects for public spaces also constitute a significant part of his work.
Lukas Bliss, a graduate of Prague’s HAMU, has long worked across the fields of dance, contemporary circus, object theatre, and the spoken word. He has collaborated extensively in the Czech Republic with Spitfire Company, Tantehorse, PocketArt, Farma v Jeskyni, Cink Cink Cirk, and the group “My kluci, co spolu chodíme (Us boys, who go out together”), of which he is a co-founder. In his own work, he combines object theater with absurd humor and live improvisation. For him, juggling is not a technique, but a way to playfully perceive the systems of the world and set them in motion. Examples of his own work include: Lavabo, STILL WAITING_BECKETT 2050, and DÓ.
