Information
This project is inspired by the lives and works of numerous creative women. At the same time, it is informed by the possibilities and limitations of a specific human body, offering an insight into the creative process itself which involves euphoria and elation along with a sense of total inaptitude, agony and hopelessness.
Why do some people have such a strong urge to create that only death can stop them? What is the role of women in contemporary society? What are their needs, expectations and what is expected from them? What can a woman´s body represent? A woman can be a mediator, a tool, a shelter, a gauge, a friend or an enemy. There are probably no definite answers to these questions.
The project was inspired by life and works Adriena Šimotová, Hildegard von Bingenu, Virginia Woolf, Adéla Taübelová, Simone Weil, the entire creative team and many of other woman and man.
