Imagine you’re a small grain. You’re surrounded by darkness, it’s humming, rustling and clattering all around you. The one next to you is stepping on your foot. You wait to see what happens next. And the gate opens.

Walk through a luminous landscape of dark woods and rivers of light. You and the other grains will dissolve, germinate, blend and separate. At one point you may feel alone, but we can tell you that at the end of the process all the grains will come together.

“Hvozdění” is an outdoor intervention by Studio ALTA. The light installations by Martin Hamouz, Štěpán Hejzlar and Magda Hejzlarová bring the old brewery building to life and extend the space of its garden to other, completely imaginary places.
