All Souls’ Day is no reason to be afraid – quite the opposite!
Ghosts of all ages, colours, and shapes – beings we don’t need to fear – will appear on Saturday afternoon in ALTA. Ghosts as memories of those we’ve loved, those whose scent we sometimes catch in a dream, whose reflection we glimpse when walking down the street.
Revived stories and souls that wish to return among us for a little while. Come laugh, dance, play, and be surprised with them.

tYhle Collective.: Gats Surprise
They have a big family but suffer from loneliness.
They are interested in Tarkovsky and comic books.
Inside, they look completely different than they do on the outside – but no one knows how.
Gats Surprise is a short solo journey of a mysterious creature named Gats, originating from the world of Scapes of Landscape. Gats surprises not only the audience but often also itself – by what it turns out to be.

Most of the time ghosts are hidden, but on this special occasion they will appear. Ghosts are beings from the in-between, fed by memories, full of curiosity. Ghosts are colourful.
Are you as curious as they are? Do you want to meet them? Do you want to watch them from a distance?
We invite people of all ages to a ghostly encounter on this November afternoon. The performance questions the idea of the spooky and scary ghosts and dreams up an alternative vision of them. As ghosts are remnants and echoes of feelings, loved people and unfulfilled wishes, we embrace them and welcome them among us.

FREE ENTRANCE
The program for the All Souls’ Eve evening will be held at the castle and in the area beneath the castle – the space will be freely open for visitors to pass through.
This event is organised by Studio ALTA together with the Municipal District of Prague 8, the Velký mlýn association, and the Municipal Library in Prague.
