Gates of the magical garden open, the air is fragrant with smoke and leaves. Darkness descends on ALTA and the Souls of the Dead come to greet us by the campfire… Are you scared? You can be tonight! We will celebrate All Souls’ Day with a dose of perhaps slightly creepy silent movies, special spooky drinks, and theatre by Linda Straub. Don’t worry, lights and candles will show you the way, and all big fears will disappear.

You’re invited to step into a coffin. Have some tea or a shot, make yourself comfortable, and tell me how you imagine your death. A wickedly good rest simulator. A performance by Linda Straub (Spielraum Kollektiv), loosely following her production Legacy and other projects that use humor and exaggeration to bring the topic of death back into everyday life.

The program for the All Souls’ Eve evening will be held at the castle and in the area beneath the castle – the space will be freely open for visitors to pass through.
This event is organised by Studio ALTA together with the Municipal District of Prague 8, the Velký mlýn association, and the Municipal Library in Prague.
