Information

Can contemporary dance be engaged, even though it uses body, motion or touch as means of expression? Can it become a tool of social dialogue or even social change? Can we as spectators watch dance in an engaged way?

And how do such engaged performances look like? Do artists work differently in Munich – a space defined by capitalist society, and Czechia, where the freedom of speech was achieved only 30 years ago?

Guests: Ceren Oran (DE, TR), Micha Purucker (DE), Eva Papp (HU), Marie Gourdain (FR, CZ), Jiří Šimek (CZ).
