David Zambrano: Porta Llave
Porta Llave is about the traces we leave behind us. It is a structured improvisation based on feet exploration. Our feet are the main topic.
Porta Llave is the result of David Zambrano’s desire to create a piece inspired by and based on feet, and his collaboration with Florian Vuille, a dancer specialized in running. The movement research they did in april 2015 helped them to understand how to use the feet as an entire body, and how to express their full dancing through this part of the body, which is mainly used to carry ones weight, keep the balance, and be different than monkeys.
Symbolically, feet are the main connection we have with the Earth, they leave our footprints on this planet. The two dancers use paint to leave traces of their action, in the room and on themselves.
The piece is a very structured improvisation. Nevertheless, the pathways are each time different.

Milan Herich: A Solo For Mr. Folk / PREMIERE
For the making of this piece, a deconstruction of traditional Slovakian folk dances has been varied, rebuilt and revitalized to form a surreal and current pop culture equivalent. Touching upon modern art, music and expressionism, we follow the pathway of a man’s journey revealing a fury of uplifting and enduring perspectives that lead us towards the idealization of himself and his traditional heritage.
