The holidays are behind us, the summer is ahead. So stop for a moment, we won’t evaluate you. We dedicate two days in June to the youngest artistic creation, the necessary meeting of budding artists, and mutual inspiration and care.
What do young artists deal with? How to become an artist and how to remain one?
Is age just a number? And a youthful state of mind? We invite everyone who wants to meet the young artistic generation and its work.

As We Grow (Světová 1)
process of collective learning and art-making
Gallery SVĚTOVA1 belongs to the circle of our closest friends. In the winter, it provides us with shelter for our team meetings, during the year it provides space for many of our activities, which are more suited to a whitebox, and pretty often we meet at spontaneous karaoke evenings. In addition, SVĚTOVA1 brings a great source of inspiration in how to present and care for art and also how to work with the upcoming generation of artists.
In their series titled As We Grow, they invite emerging artists to a common space to create a group exhibition in a two-week process. The whole process is facilitated by an already recognized artist on the art scene, who, despite becoming an important source of knowledge, sets the process horizontally, so that an environment where multiple voices are heard is created.
The As We Grow program, its starting points, methodology and personal experiences will be presented to us by Zai Xu, curator and producer of the SVĚTOVA1 gallery. The program will be followed with a guided tour of the exhibition The Polymorphs Between Us.

Memories, materials, objects. A intimate and participatory experience that explores places and memory. This time in a location with a strong spirit of place, the Synagogue in Libeň, right in the middle of the busy Palmovka district.

Workshop, conceived as a facilitated sharing session on how to perceive success in artistic work. Unfortunately, the common language for the session will be Czech. ALTA Grill (garden of Studio ALTA)
For us, ALTA is as much a place for art as it is a meeting place. And how else to create a space for intuitive proximity than around the dining table. The Studio ALTA team invites you to come and share an evening barbecue with us. There will be some goodies from our fridge on site, but we invite you to bring your own. Dinner will be followed by a performance Miners by the dance collective SPOLK.
