A non-governmental organisation which opens a dialogue and encourages empathy in society towards people in need. Locals for Locals seek to remove stereotypes and barriers in issues of homelessness and social interaction across the society.

They organise topic-related events and public lectures, and equip and support local communities to be able to provide direct help towards people in need. This can help building solidarity in the neighbourhoods.

Locals for Locals build a solidarity network of small local businesses and shopkeepers (cafés, restaurants and others) that offer small services for free to people without home or anyone who needs it. Locals for Locals also work with two special communities: Local Artists and Musicians Without Home. They are artists and musicians who have come together not only due to their experience of homelessness but also in their effort to create and start their lives anew.
